Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer responsible for providing Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor capability within a 24×7/365 operational environment. You'll operate as single point of contact (SPOC) between the service provider and operational users, capturing, logging, categorizing, and prioritizing all incidents via a standardized ticketing system; Tier I/II personnel will cover the watch floor if not elsewhere. Perform initial diagnosis using established knowledge bases and incident models. Attempt first-contact resolution for standard issues (password resets, account access, basic navigation, known errors). Escalate unresolved incidents to Tier II support via functional escalation procedures. Maintain incident status communication with users throughout the resolution lifecycle. Document all troubleshooting steps and resolution actions to populate and expand the knowledge base. Provide 24/7/365 coverage via rotating 12 hour shifts (0500 and 1700 daily), aligning with 2 week rotation schedules. Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS
Required skills:
Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $185,000 - $205,000.

- Four (4) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization
- Operating Systems & Administration
- Linux system administration (RHEL / CentOS, etc.)
- Scripting with Python / Bash
- Containerization & Orchestration:
- Experience with Docker
- Recent (within 3 years) hands-on work with Kubernetes and cluster orchestration
- Cloud & DevSecOps:
- Cloud deployment experience
- Familiarity with security-focused DevOps practices
- Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies
- Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) AND CCNA certification
