Enterprise - Operations Research Analyst - Modeling, Simulation

Description
Analyzes management and operational problems and formulates mathematical or simulation models of problems for solution by computers or other methods. Defines data requirements, gathers and validates information, as well as applying judgment and statistical tests. Performs verification and testing of model to ensure adequacy, or determines the need for reformulation. Prepares reports defining the problem, evaluation, and possible solutions. Assists in evaluating implementation and effectiveness of research. Assists in the design, conduct and evaluation of operational models where limited data exists to formulate a model.
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Management Science. Ten (10) years of experience in conducting analyses of management and operational problems using Operations Research techniques is required; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Management Science. Eight (8) years of experience in conducting analyses of management and operational problems using Operations Research techniques is required; or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Management Science. Six (6) years of experience in conducting analyses of management and operational problems using Operations Research techniques is required.

- Four (4) years' experience in the application of M&S to Decision Analysis problems
- Four (4) years' experience in the application of M&S to Cost/Benefit Analysis problems
- Four (4) years' experience in using at least five (5) of the following products: PANDAS, R, EXCEL/VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi/CPLEX, EXTEND SIM, SAS, NETICA, statsmodels, Stata, MATLAB, SPSS.
- Experience gathering modeling requirements from stakeholders
