Enterprise - Senior System Engineer - Governance, Characterization, Support

Description
Coordinate and track operational efficiencies for implemenatation in the ingest pipleline to affect coprate warehouses. Create and maintain schedule of action items needed by the SODO to manage projected storage issues and utility of data for corporate warehouses. Investigate and provide recommended courses of action to address data quality, utility, and capacity issues with warehouses. Manage and track requirements that SODO issues to collection, pocessing and dataflow systems, analytic tools, and the warehours to affect change to retention, storage capacity, utility, and quallity of data.

Additional responsibilities will include:
  • Assist in executing Data Governance, Data Extension & Reduction Requests, Data Characterization and Tagging Support, Data Management Requests, Historical Data Migration, and Corporate Warehouse governance and support activities withing the SODO office. 
  • SODO plays a large role and coordinates with all directorates, mission and compliance capabilities to ensure data is usable across the enterprise. 
  • Shall have a firm understanding of operational data, data ingest, and data flow processes to validate and track processing and governance information. 
  • Should have an understanding of front ed processing, analytic and storage infrastructure, and how queries are pulled. 
  • In addition, familiarity with various HDM capabilities and methodologies, Io include appropriate toolsets and their functions, limitations and applications. 
  • Shall possess solid technical writing skills to be able to translate technical information contained within processes and infrastructure descriptions into requirements and actionable activities.
Requirements
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
 
Twenty (20) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required . Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor' s degree.

Required technical skills:
